Competitive Spades

Two ladders. One complete player.

The leaderboard separates traditional Ranked Solo from fast Ranked Blitz, so a short format never distorts your standing in the long game.

What the leaderboard measures

A rating is a competitive estimate, not a lifetime score. It changes after rated matches based on the result and the strength of the table. Wins against strong opponents are more meaningful than farming easy games. The leaderboard displays the current season rather than rewarding whoever has played for the longest time.

Why the ratings are separate

Blitz rewards rapid card reading, compact risk decisions and quick recovery from a set. The 500-point format gives bags, score state and long-term partnership adaptation more room to matter. Keeping separate ratings makes both ladders honest while letting the same player pursue both.

Seasons without deleting your history

Season standings create a fresh race while your match history and earned achievements remain part of the account. At the end of a season, placements can unlock distinctive badges and cosmetics. The permanent profile shows what you accomplished; the active leaderboard shows what you are doing now.

Fair-play principle

Private games do not affect the public ladder. Ranked tables use controlled matchmaking and recorded results, while moderation tools and reports help protect competitive integrity.

How to climb responsibly

  1. Choose one ladder and learn its score pressure.
  2. Review sets and failed Nil bids, not only wins.
  3. Track bags before every bid.
  4. Play enough matches for the rating to stabilize.
  5. Take breaks when speed starts replacing judgment.

Leaderboard questions

Does Ranked Blitz affect Ranked Solo rating?

No. Each format has its own rating and leaderboard.

Do private matches count?

No. Private and casual tables are for play outside the rated ladder.

Can a guest appear on the leaderboard?

Ranked progress should be attached to a secured account so the rating remains associated with the same player across devices.
